Gauhati University has released an official notification regarding the admission of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) for the session 2025. As per the official notification, GU will conduct a common entrance test called GUBEDCET to select the meritorious students for the admission. Students who are eligible as per the notification and willing to get admission in B.Ed. must submit their online application to participate in the entrance test.

Eligibility Criteria of Gauhati university B.Ed. Admission 2024
A candidate may be allowed to appear in the GUBEDCET-20223 provided that he/she has passed the B.A/ B.Sc./ B.Com. or MA/ MSc/ M.Com or equivalent degree programme form a recognized Board/ University with at least 50% marks (or 45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD).
Application Fee of GUBEDCET
Students have to pay Rs.2000/- (Rupees One Thousand Five Hundred Only) as application fee to complete online application process for Gauhati University B.Ed. Common Entrance Test, 2024.
Mode of Payment: Students need to pay the application fee through online payment gateway using their ATM card, Internet Banking or UPI. Note that no other mode of payment is accepted.
How to Apply for GU/ Guwahati university B.Ed. Admission?
Students who are eligible as per official notification and willing to submit application for admission must submit their online application on official portal of Gauhati University within stipulated time. 4. After registration, you have to provide all your asked details.
5. After that you have to upload your documents.
6. Now, you have to pay the application fee.
7. After successful payment, your application will be submitted.
8. Also, you will receive an acknowledgment copy of your submission.
At the Keep that acknowledgment copy for future use.
Examination Centres for Entrance Test
Candidates will be able to appear in any one of the following GUBEDCET-2024 centres and will have to indicate the same while filling the online form. A candidate has to select any three exam centres. A candidate will be appointed in any one centre based on the feasibility of a particular Centre.
